Firstly, Jesus Christ would not break His own Commandments.
Secondly, He will not tell you to do anything that will result in harm to yourself or others.
It is a myth that somehow the phrase "turn the other cheek" means to allow for more injury after a slap, because it would mean to allow for more harm to happen and it also goes against the do no harm doctrine.
An interesting interpretation from scholar Walter Wink, states that this phrase is a demand for equality.
He states that during the time of Jesus Christ, slapping someone with the back of the hand is an insult. By turning the other cheek, you will force the person to strike with open hand as an equal, which the offender will not do because it defeats the whole purpose of the insult.
My original interpretation is to turn the page. Let go of the slight. Do not hold a grudge. Walk away.
It is also a matter of degree. A slap is a slight. We are not talking about abuse.
At no time does it mean to let someone hurt you or to not defend yourself if you have to.

Wisdom and Integrity
Kindred,
If you choose wisely, you will most likely be able to minimize negative consequences and maximize positive outcomes.
Best to go with the wisest and the person with the most integrity.
Being wise is the ability to apply knowledge, gained by experience and know how, in a manner which is good for all involved or serves humanity and the Lord.
Integrity is the quality of having strong moral principles uncompromised in honesty and is trustworthy.
Both are good combinations. It also wouldn't hurt if you are lucky.

The Witness
Kindred,
Unless you foresake the Holy Spirit in sin(s), the Holy Spirit is with you (whether you realize it or not).
Most importantly, the Holy Spirit is the Witness in everything and all you do.
The Judgement does not depend solely upon the state of your soul and character.
The Lord already knows all you do and its consequences, what you think and where you are in your heart of hearts.
Its balanced upon the whole and humanity, during and before (forever and a moment in an instant of) Judgement.
If you imagine that you will have an opportunity to state your case, think again and save your breath. It does not work that way.
Many wrongdoers image that they can talk and lie their way out of trouble or appeal to Jesus Christ, but the response will most likely be "I never knew you. Get away from me, you unholy people!"
The Lord will already have the most reliable witness, the Holy Spirit.
Your history is not only recorded in your memory and its consequences upon your soul, its recorded unbiased by the Holy Spirit in the Collective Memory.
Do not think you can get away from Judgement. Each person will face It sooner or later.
You better watch out and take care in everything you do.
And if you have sinned, it is imperative that you go through the repentance process. Because when you die, you are out of time and out of the opportunity for repentance.
Ignorance of your sin(s) will not be a valid excuse, because sins would have caused harm to your soul and to the people you have injured with them.
Therefore, I would encourage you to apply the law of the prophets in helping you determine if you have sinned and the gravity of those sins.
And take the opportunity to become and be a better person.

Stop Feeding the Beast

Your friend should take responsibility for his actions and man-up.
Only a coward blames someone else for his actions.

Assumptions of Forgivness

I know you want to believe your friend, the false minister.
But I caution you against blind belief in his distorted and misleading interpretations of the truth, in order to cover-up his inadequacies, sins and lies.
Forgiveness should never be used as a weapon or manipulation tool to alleviate guilt and sinful practices or/and to blame the victim.
If you have sinned, you should never assume you are forgiven by the Lord without first admitting, understanding the sin or wrong, have remorse for and atoning for it.
Eternal damnation is a very long time and painful. It is not the kind of final fate you would want for yourself or your children.
Again, I caution you to apply the law of the prophets in your actions, before assuming (if you were complicite in or guilty of sin(s) are forgiven) you are in good standing with the Lord.

Again, I would like to remind you that if Heaven is about the Forgiveness of the Lord, then Satan would still be there. Satan was casted out for his bad behaviors and sins. Therefore, what do you think you would be Judged on?

Will a person ever achieve full and complete understanding of the Lord or even understanding of all physics and everything in the world or the universe?
Each individual is unique; no two persons are exactly the same, therefore, no two paths to the Way will be the same ( the Way that can be named is not the Way).
Enlightenment can never be achieved without questioning current thoughts or preconceived notions and neither can any advancements in science.
Therefore, I encourage you to strive for self-esteem, not in right or wrong, and understanding in wisdom and enlightenment, not for power and control in ignorance and abuse.
I hope you find your individual way to the Lord and a good journey with the Holy Spirit in enlightenment.

Prayer

No one can go through life without tragedies, heartache or suffering.
We live within the cycle of life. Death is at its end. Birth the beginning.
Fear is a natural feeling in the midst of the uncertainty of life and its valleys.
Prayers cannot change the life's cycle, but it can give you the courage to endure and the spirit to seek what matters in life.
Prayers are not meant for what you want, but what you need to be in and at peace with yourself and the Lord.
Prayers for your wellness of being are not for you to live forever, but to live in what time you have with strength (love and peace) and purpose in service of the Lord and humanity.
Please continue to pray in selfless ways that will help you be with the Holy Spirit to serve the Lord and humanity.

When Judgement Day Comes
Kindred,
I do not want to argue.
I know what you want to hear and believe.
I know what you have been taught by your priest from his homilies.
But forgiveness and belief, are not attributes of character, nor are they good deeds sown for the good of humanity.
I do not know who's guilt he was trying to alleviate, but finding the path to Heaven's Gate is not based solely upon forgiveness or belief.
In the end, when we are Judged, what are we to be judged on?
Will the Judgement be on the Lord's or victim's capacity to forgive or love?
Think again.
If you are in need of forgiveness, it is safe to say that you have strayed from the path laid forth by the Lord.
I know you do not ask or insist for yourself, but the person you care for.
But removing the process of redemption for that sinner only removes the possibility of salvation, and even, purgatory.
Salvation is not about the Lord's or the victim's capacity for love or forgiveness.
If your friend have sinned, he or she must confess the sin, have proper remorse for the harm caused by the sin(s), repent and atone.
Otherwise, there is no redemption and no possibility of salvation (no recognition of problem of sin and removal of sin).
If you can answer, in the end, when we are Judged, what are we to be judged on?
You will have an inkling of the Lord's measurement of salvation and what you must do to receive it.

Win or Lose

Life is not a competition where you are playing against someone.
Love is not a competition where you are playing against someone.
My life is not a game for someone to play at, to win or lose at, nor does it belong to anyone, but the Lord.
If you treat everything and everyone as a competition, then you have already lost.
You lost relationships built upon love and fellowships, which ask for nothing in return, but friendship.
Most importantly, you lost your connection to the Holy Spirit and any possiblity of salvation.
Salvation will be lost to anyone that treat life, their own or someone else's life, as a game, because it is no longer about the journey with the Holy Spirit, but about a game.

(Sounds absurd, but with wolves in shepherd's or sheep's clothing, it does happen)

If you do vote for sin or for crime, then there is premeditation and intent to sin or commit the crime; and to also conspire as a group to sin or commit illegal acts.

Why then would you ever consider such a corrupt process or practice?
If your church operates in sin, then it is no longer a church, faithful and obedient to the Lord, but a place of sin and damnation.
If your orginazation operates in crime, then it is no longer law abiding, but a crime syndicate.
Either way, these are votes without standing, morally or legally.

If You Fail

Did you know that you must repent after you sin?
And did you know that the repentance and atonement process must be complete and full in order to receive forgiveness?
You and your actions are measured by the Lord and held to a standard set forth by the Lord (Lord's definition of Love, not by your understanding or lack of understanding of it).
Again, after applying the law of the prophets, the Golden Rule, you will have an inkling of the depth of your sins or your grace and deeds.
And if you fail and fall short of recognizing, confessing, repenting and atoning for your sins, it is a safe bet that you will also fail to recognize Heaven's Rickety Gate.

Love is the Measure

You have indicators of false prophets and ministers by their lies and inability to follow the basic law of the prophets; treat people the way you would like to be treated.
Yet you still give these wolves in shepherd's cholthing a platform to spread their lies, hate, sins and power trips.
What exactly are you unclear of in the Lord's Commandments?
There is only one theme, love.
It is not the kind of "love" that these Unholies turn into a weapon or possession or manipulation or perversion, where love and forgiveness are paraded around as a cover-ups for more sin and sinful behaviors, and as a means to blame the victim for their crimes.
It is not the kind of "love" that put selfish desire first, but the kind of love that considers the well-being and happiness of the other person first.
Love. That's it. That's all.
Why then are you unsure of your standing with the Lord?
Your standing is only as good as your love for the Lord and for humanity (as dictated by your thoughts, actions and deeds).
What is in your heart of hearts and actions determine your place, heaven, purgatory, oblivion or Hell.
How you measure the depths of your placement and where, is by asking yourself where you think the Lord will place you after the law of the prophets is applied (in consideration of the beings already in Heaven).

Before Christianity

Before Christianity there was Christ.
When Jesus was born, there were no Christians, no Apostles, no churches; nothing before Christ started teaching and shepherding.
He stepped into a world hostile to the Word.
Jesus was crucified.
Would it be any different today?
You might think yes, it is very different, because now we have the Teachings, yet....
Do we follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ with humility of spirit and purity of heart?
Or are we more inclinded to give power to Caesar in desperate attempts to elevate uncertainty and fear?

Beyond Your Avatar

How many times have you heard it's what inside (your heart, your mind, your soul) that matters?
Yet, many still judge or form vital decisions based upon looks and the superficial in titles, fame, money and power.
The negative consequences of vanity blind many from seeing the wonders of the Lord's creations (which can only be seen with the purity of the heart, mind and soul).
Its degradation creates ill- advised choices, hardships and detriments to humanity.
Look upon our looks as an avatar that represents a person, but is not the real person.
Knowing and finding who you are beyond your avatar is the key to finding yourself, humanity, the Lord, and Heaven.

Join Humanity

You are loved by the Lord.
But it does not mean you can do what you want.
When Jesus Christ gave the Commandments, it was so you and humanity would know what is expected in deed and conduct.
Never and no where are there force or coersion for you to obey.
No where and never are there violations of free will or freedom of choice.
If you choose to disobey, then that is your choice, but then know there are consequences to damaging your soul and character in sin(s) and foresaking the Lord.
You can live free in truth and free from sin or be enslaved to sin and sinful ways, that is your choice.
But know there are consequences for the good or the bad.
Before you rush to judgement or decide, make sure you are asking and discerning from a caring heart free from biases and sin.
If you realized that you are not as good as you thought you were, great, join the club of we can all do better.
If you realized that you have sinned, repent and atone, and join the club of we can all do better.
You are loved by the Lord.

Hypocrisy

I do not have to tell you the importance of the teachings of Jesus Christ.
During the time of Christ, the teachings were considered radical by the Pharisees and nonbelievers; and Christ was persecuted and condemned for it.
Today, the teachings are as relevant and at times seemingly controversial.
Controversial because of the various interpretations (by imperfect persons in search of perfection rather than the truth).
History repeat itself. Now, false priest and ministers take the place of Pharisees dictating Christ's Laws.
The lies and hypocrisy as coverup for their sins or imperfections run amuck in todays churches and temples.
These wolves in shepherd's clothing have no moral authority to preach the Lord's Word.
Grooming sheep into sin or complicity to sin, is sacriledgious, because it leads the sheep into Hell with these false shepherds steeped in sin and sinful practices.
Sin is sin.
Hate is hate.
Abuse of power is abuse of power.
No matter the excuses, coverups or perversions of truth, these unholy and sinful practices will still be sacriledgious and unacceptable to the Lord.

As I verbalize earlier, I find sexual orientation irrelevant to the determination of character.
Character depends largely upon how you are practicing the Lord's Commandments (to love the Lord and love thy neighbor as yourself and as the Lord would Love).
For example, someone can be a raging heterosexual, but practicing sexual slavery or abuse, which are crimes against humanity, sacriledgious violations agaist the victim-person and the Lord; and therefore, practicing sin.
Sexual orientation in of itself does not determine if someone is practicing lust or love or crimes against humanity.
And what a person chooses to do in private is no one's business (unless in cases of crimes against humanity, abuses, rape, incest, slavery, harassment, stalking...matters of harm).
Best not to judge; and definitely do not judge a book by its cover.

Wrongdoers are constantly excusing themselves and imagining themselves forgiven when they are not.
Besides, the Lord's Commandments are not about forgiveness for wrongdoing, but about good conduct (goodwill) for gooddoing.
The question is not about the Lord's capacity for Love (or forgiveness), but the individual person's capacity to receive Love (or forgiveness).

What kind of people are you?
To knowingly allow for abuse, slavery, gaslighting and torture?
Having false ministers preach about forgiveness while committing sins of the flesh, blaming the victim and grooming the congregation, are not Christain values.
These false Christains do not even ask for forgiveness, but demand it without remorse.
Do you know that when forgiveness is sought, it is for wrongdoing, not for doing anything good?
And if nothing good is ever accomplished then how can there be expectation of Heaven?
