In the Second Coming, how will you recognize Jesus?
It is unlikely that Jesus will be named Jesus Christ when he comes.
Who has the last name of Christ, meaning Messiah?
No one.
Most people in the first century did not have last names.
They were identified by the city where they were born or lived and being the son or daughter of their parents.
We do not even know what Jesus Christ looked like then, because there is no description of his physical appearance in the Bible.
We have no known images of Jesus Christ.
So even if he looked exactly the same, who would know?
Even if we had a general description of handsome and tall, tall back then is not tall today and handsome changes with the times as does beauty; and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Again, how would we identify Jesus Christ in the Second Coming if we do not know his name or physical appearance?
We have no choice, but to go beyond skin deep, the physical, into the metaphysical; the character attributes, the teachings, abilities and prophetic experience and circumstance.
How will you recognize Jesus Christ?
And will Jesus Christ recognize or know you?
