The immersion in the Holy Spirit does not require loss of self and should not mean losing oneself to some great cause or person.
Immersion in the Holy Spirit should be a nurturing and healing experience, leading to a greater understanding of love and peace, grace and wisdom.
It should recharge and refresh your inner light, leading to a wellness of being; wholesome and intact (unto the original self created with the Lord's purpose).
However, to truly immerse yourself, you must let go of prejudices, hate and sins (negatives) which block and prevent receiving or experiencing the Holy Spirit.
It is impossible to have a clear understanding of the Holy Spirit, any subject, culture or person when clouded by biases or preconceived notions, causing unfair judgements and impressions.
Some situations in life can be complicated, full of extenuating circumstances beyond one's own control, caused by bad players, sinners and perpetrators.
My wish is that you grow fully in grace and wisdom with the Holy Spirit (not lose yourself in the ignorance of the unholy) and follow the ethical standards of the Lord (not be influenced by inhumane, compromised bad practices of the unholy).
