Kindred,
Before Christianity there was Christ.
When Jesus was born, there were no Christians, no Apostles, no churches; nothing before Christ started teaching and shepherding.
He stepped into a world hostile to the Word.
Jesus was crucified.
Would it be any different today?
You might think yes, it is very different, because now we have the Teachings, yet....
Do we follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ with humility of spirit and purity of heart?
Or are we more inclinded to give power to Caesar in desperate attempts to elevate uncertainty and fear?
If Jesus stood before you today in a different form, how would you treat this Person (not knowning the type of body, gender or face)?
What if Jesus sent one of the Apostles to serve humanity today, how do you think this Apostle will fare?
