Empathy, Respect and Regard

Kindred,

Wake up!

Wake up to empathy, respect and regard!

The Good Samaritan parable tells of a traveler, stripped and beated, left half-dead, passed by a priest and Levite, until a Samaritan helps the injured man.

Jesus teaches this parable as response to the question "And who is my neighbor?"

This parable answers who and anwers how to love your neighbor as yourself.

Answer, what would you do if you were the traveler (walk in the victim's shoes)?

Walk in the victims shoes (hear their testimonies: https://youtu.be/nBs4oanNh2shttps://youtu.be/FHOKNBVoG4Mhttps://youtu.be/V12yJ4eosTEhttps://youtu.be/Za8cY_zd9Qw).

How would you describe the level of empathy and compassion of a person, where not only does this person walks by a traveler stripped, raped, left half-dead, but blames the traveler for her condition?

Abuse hurts and destroys.

Abuse of power corrupts.

Blame does the same.

Have compassion for the victims.

Do something to change these heinous crimes against humanity.

And follow Jesus's second commandment to love your neighbor as yourself.

Treat a person how you would like to be treated with empathy, respect and regard.
