🤔

Would extinguishing lights in one area of the world allow other areas to shine brighter without producing new light?

No, it would simply make the entire world less bright.

Similarly, if one country enters an economic recession, causing a cascading effect that impacts others, would it magically lead to greater prosperity in those countries, especially with fewer customers?

It's a complete myth that disorder, destruction, and global destabilization can somehow result in prosperity and increased power, particularly when economic stability is absent.

How do we know this?

History.  Records show that creating oppressive conflicts often leads to devastating outcomes.

**World War II (1939–1945)**

- **What happened:** Germany, led by Adolf Hitler, initiated World War II with its invasion of Poland, which triggered a global conflict with catastrophic consequences.

- **Devastation:** Germany's aggressive actions ultimately led to its own destruction. By the end of the war, major cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, and Dresden were obliterated by Allied bombing campaigns.

- **Immediate Post-War Devastation:**

  - **Physical Ruin:** Allied bombing left much of Germany in ruins, destroying millions of homes, buildings, and critical infrastructure.

  - **Humanitarian Crisis:** Millions of Germans were left homeless, starving, and lacking food and shelter.

  - **Displaced Populations:** Many Germans who were evacuated from their homes, along with ethnic Germans expelled from regions annexed by Poland and the Soviet Union, became displaced persons, caught in a state of chaos.

The nation was divided into East and West Germany, lost significant territory, and endured an unimaginable loss of life. The war also saw the systematic murder of six million Jews by the Nazi regime, representing a monumental moral and historical stain.

**Syrian Civil War (2011 to Present):**

This ongoing conflict originated as a civilian protest movement and has resulted in the near-total destruction of vast parts of the nation.

- **Infrastructure Destruction:** As of 2023, approximately 90% of Syria's infrastructure has been devastated, and major cities like Aleppo and Deir al-Zour lie in ruins.

- **Catastrophic Loss of Life:** The war has claimed an estimated half a million lives, displaced millions more, and caused immense suffering due to the lack of food, clean water, and medical care.

- **Cultural Heritage Loss:** Many of Syria's world heritage sites, including ancient markets, mosques, and archaeological sites, have been severely damaged or looted.

There are countless examples throughout history where chaos, conflict, and war have resulted in tragic and devastating outcomes. Suffice it to say, fear, oppression, turmoil, and conflict never lead to prosperity and peace.
