It has been nearly two thousand years since Christ walked the earth.

How close are we to embodying Christ's teachings of love and peace, the concept that the meek shall inherit the earth?

If we are not close, then how far are we?

Are we so distant as to be considered unchristian?

Have we regressed to the times of the Old Testament, where the principle was "an eye for an eye"?

Shouldn't we live as enlightened individuals filled with the love and peace of the Holy Spirit in the times after the New Testament?
