We, unfortunately, seem to be more of a fear-based society than a truly faith-based one.
The fear of Satan often feels more tangible than the fear of the Lord, even though the Bible instructs us not to fear Satan, only the Lord.
Unchecked corruption and the distortion of truth have led us down a dark path.
Though the political shift may have eliminated the illusion of a "red mirage", it has not dispelled the illusion of absolute control through power and its abuse.
Power and control can be likened to manipulating and controlling a surfer on a surfboard.
A surfer may be directed in a certain way and even pressured into a particular surfing style, but this control can make the surfer rigid and less aware of the waves beneath them.
While control from some individuals is real, absolute control is impossible because the ocean, its tides, and tidal waves upon a person cannot be controlled.
Ultimately, the thoughts or beliefs of the surfer do not influence the tides; the tidal waves will determine whether the surfer stays on the board or not and where they end up.
Similarly, a person's destiny—whether in heaven or hell—is not dictated solely by their beliefs, but rather by their connection with the sacred, their deeds, and their character, which will determine their acceptance by the Lord on Judgment Day.
The pursuit of power and control dims and block our sensitivity to the waves of life and the connections between the surfer, the board, and the ocean’s movements.
The more one clings to power and control, the more they suppress and block their ability to connect with humanity and the Holy Spirit.
One cannot receive the gifts of wonder with a clenched fist and a closed heart.
Feeding the beast of fear with hate, lust, and greed only serves to mask fear temporarily, building it up to eventually unravel more destructively.
We must confront our fears and insecurities rather than projecting them onto others, which only perpetuates fear and creates imaginary "boogiemen" that intensify our anxieties.
Eventually, if we are consumed by a never-ending cycle of fear, our souls can become barren wastelands, filled with broken dreams, nightmares, more fear and more rage.
In times of fear, turning to power and control to manage external threats rather than addressing our internal fears only breeds more fear and anxiety.
Given the uncertain future that lies ahead, fraught with dangers, we must be brave and summon the courage to confront our inner fears and work on exorcizing them instead of creating more imagined threats.
We need to embrace faith over fear, connect with the spirit of humanity, and move gracefully toward intelligence and wisdom.
Understanding our differences and finding enlightenment will be essential to solving the challenges we face.
If we find ourselves on the brink of disaster, why not explore ways to avoid doom instead of hastening our decline through unnecessary fears, ignorance, and the mirage of absolute control over everything, including the tides of life?
We must stand strong, like the tallest of trees—able to bend but not break in the fiercest hurricanes—rooted in faith and guided by wisdom, with love for the Lord and humanity.
We must base our decisions not on wants and desires, but on what is wisest and most helpful for everyone and humanity.
Understand that creating prosperity means also creating stability and opportunity for everyone so that there is sustainable growth, not destabilization, decay, and destruction.
To achieve greater prosperity and spiritual peace, we need wise men and women, magi and sages, who can lead us out of the spiritual desert and into a life filled with the amazing wonders of the Holy Spirit, rather than one filled with unholy terrors and crimes against humanity.
For in the end, what is power, and prosperity without honor and salvation*?
*Purity of heart, decency, and everything that is holy.
