If one were to look beyond a person's book cover, what would they find in the pages of that book as is without any BS or tampering?
Would there be any attributes or values that match that of the holy teachings of Christ?
36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?”
37 And Christ said to him,
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
38 This is the great and first commandment.
39 And a second is like it:
You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”*
Matthew 22: 36–40
“AND WHO IS MY NEIGHBOR?”
This question was asked by an expert in Mosaic law in his second test question of Jesus Christ.
Jesus answered the question with the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10: 29-37);
Where he made clear that our neighbor is everyone, regardless of their ethnicity, religion, gender or socio-economic status.**
The first test question asked by this expert in Mosaic law of Christ was,
“Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”
25 And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying,
“Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”
26 He said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?”
27 And he answered,
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
28 And he said to him,
“You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.”
Luke 10: 25-28***
What is written in your book; what attributes, values, and holy grace?
Have you followed the Law, the commandments, uncorrupted by the liars and unholy?
Will you inherit eternal life?
