I am not a political person, so it is a shock to my person that I should miss a political figure, John McCain, so much.  

I may not have agreed with John McCain’s politics all the time (the times that I follow politics which is hardly ever), but I respected his position and believed that he truly had the best interest of the American people in mind.  

He was a true Republican and patriot. 

He served the people selflessly with honor, valor, and decency.

I am not sure why such a person cannot be found in the Republican party which, given their namesake, should be staunch defenders of the “Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”.

I do not mean to be indelicate when I say Republicans today act more like castrated men held hostage by a terrorist than heroes like John McCain.  

I find it completely unacceptable to have them kowtow to corrupt individuals hijacking our republic and democracy with lies, threats, and criminal acts of abuse of power and terror.  

Does anyone else think it absurd for the “law and order” party to kowtow to the corrupt individual brainwashing the public with lies, threatening jurors of his choosing, judges, families, law enforcement, and anyone not to his liking?

Are we in an autocratic state already?  

In a civilized democracy, we obey the rule of law and respect law enforcement and public servants doing their duty, not threaten them like some terrorists.

If this felon does not want to do the time, then he should not have done the crimes, run around threatening retaliation and harm and remain completely unrepentant and abusive.
