It is a fallacy that we are sinners and have both good and evil within us.
We are capable of both good and evil, of doing good and doing harm, but it does not mean everybody is both good and evil.
In the beginning, we are created by the Lord; therefore, holy.
When we pass our tests of character, we remain holy with deepening enlightenment.
If we fail a test of character, recognize our failure, confess, repent and atone, then retest and pass, we are good.
It is the ones in continuous failures of character in perpetual harm and sin that become sinners.
Just as those that lie excessively become lairs.
The problem with being groomed or raised into thinking that we are both good and evil, is that not only do people become complicit and accepting of sin and bad behaviors, people give footholds to sin and bad behaviors, thus becoming corrupted and compromised.
We cannot serve both the Lord and Satan for we shall hate one and love the other*;
Which is why sinners will delight in evil and relish in the unholy power of hate forsaking the Lord and the Lord's commandments to love in fellowship.
*“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money."
Matthew 6:24
