Rule over does not mean harm, oppress or extinguish; and it does not mean ignoring the rule of the Lord and the Lord's commandments.

The Lord created everything, including people.

And everything belongs to the Lord*.

Do you know what else belongs to the Lord?  

Power.  

“Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever;

    wisdom and power are his.

    He deposes kings and raises up others.

He gives wisdom to the wise

    and knowledge to the discerning.

True power belongs to the Lord.

There is a vast difference between feeling powerful or all powerful and real strength in bravery and wisdom.  

Perceiving peace and love as weaknesses, as if aggression, power trips and hate are strengths, is misplaced. 

Aggression and hate is the misplacement of fear and insecurities and is not in line with the teachings of the Bible and Jesus Christ, who commands us to love.
