I know you have people believing in power and abuse of power. 

But how does abusing people or acts of terrorism translate into putting bread on your table or feeding your kids or ensuring their future?  

What is the correlation between power or abuse of power and innovation or prosperity?  

Power trips are trips into grandiose delusions or abuses in power, an individual terrorist my have this problem or a tryant with some actual power; however, it is not total power or the level of real power these megalomaniacs think, because in reality there are other factors besides power (like economics, spirituality….).

Reality is never going to play out in perpetuity the way power trippers think, because the grandiosity becomes more distorted as time passes.  

In other words, it is like building on quicksand of ponzi schemes of power in abuses of power, which abusers can get away with for a time, but it will become unsustainable as reality is neglected for greater periods of time.  

And even if the abusers can get away with abuse of power in this lifetime, abusers still would have to answer to the Lord in the after-lifetime.
