Kindred,

Back in the early 2020, the pained and dumbfounded look on the teacher's face was not due to any stick or any checkmate.  

It was due to the knowledge of what is to come; what was set forth by the catastrophic choices of the ignorant and megalomaniac narcissists.   

Too much respect was given by her to the unbelievably foolish.  

Never did the wise realize that a bunch of "professional security" would give up their tactical gear, protective vests, and engage the enemy without protection, then infecting the whole team, family, friends and neighbors with deadly contagion.  

Then as these "professionals" watch their team members fall, family, friends and neighbors fall, still thinking nothing is wrong with not protecting from a deadly enemy, even if it's in the form of a microbe without a brain.  

Divide and conquer of self, family, friends and own country while losing to a deadly enemy which cannot even replicate unless in a host, is sad and tragic.  

Not sure what was won, but I am certain what was lost in honor, intelligence, decency and lives.  

In the United States, the lives lost are now at over 558,000 people.  

Try to remember that this virus, COVID-19, is the enemy, not your family, friends and neighbors.   

Try to remember that this virus, like all viruses, mutates and becomes more efficient over time; likely to become more infectious and towards younger and younger age groups as it seeks to find more hosts or victims.  

Now is not the time to lose more lives to this deadly enemy.
