Here is a quote from Lao Tzu, the ancient philosopher and author of the Tao Te Ching (The Way and Its Power):
Watch your thoughts, they become your words;
Watch your words, they become your actions;
Watch your actions, they become your habits;
Watch your habits, they become your character;
Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.
If your thoughts are filled with hate, fear, lust and sins, then your character will also be filled with hate, fear, lust and sins; and your destiny will be hell.
And just because someone has a talent or special ability, it does not mean that person will use it for good; it depends upon his or her character.
And there are different levels of abilities, not everyone will be at genius or master levels.
At whatever the ability, abuse of power is abuse of power; super abuses of power is still abuse of power; causing harm at whatever level of power or ability is still causing harm.
Regardless of the kind of ability or power you have, you will still need purity of heart to see the Lord and enter heaven.
Therefore,
Watch your thoughts, they become your words;
Watch your words, they become your actions;
Watch your actions, they become your habits;
Watch your habits, they become your character;
Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.
