As we protest against injustice and hold abusers of power accountable for each count of abuse, let's take a look at some of these laws.
Preventing abuse of power or color of law violations:
18 U.S.C. section 242, Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law*
"States it is a crime for any person acting under color of law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom to willfully deprive or cause to be deprived from any person those rights, priviledges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution and laws of the United States.
This law further prohibits a person acting under color to subjected any person to different punishments, pains, or penalties than perscribed on account of color or race."
Categories of color of law violations are:
Excessive force
Sexual assaults
False arrest and fabrication of evidence
Deprivation of property
Failure to keep from harm
A category for Malfeasance should be added.
The Fourth Amendment guarantees rights against unreasonable search and seizures.
The Eighth Amendment prohibits use of cruel and unusual punishment.
Under 18 U.S.C. section 4, it is a crime to conceal or fail to report to proper authorities the commision if felony under any criminal statute if the individual knew of the actual commission of the crime(s).
Under 18 U.S.C. section 2, it is a crime to aid, abet, counsel, command, induce or procure another to commit a crime under any criminal statute.
Under 18 U.S.C., it is a crime to conspire with one or more persons to commit a crime under any criminal statute.

Fraud and false statements, 18 U.S.C section 1001, 1028, 1029, 1030, 1031, 1037, 1038
