Kindred,
Do you ever feel as if you are not quite sure what
religion certain Christian people are practicing?
These people quote scripture, but out of context.
Talk about love, but practice hate or superiority.
Love is not a hierarchy to be controlled or lofted
over.
Love is a warmth of heart, a gentleness of soul.
Do not go around possessing love, religion or
people, because all belongs to the Lord.
Just like your children are not your possession. They are not Mini-Mes to be groomed in your
likeness, but gifts from the Lord, on loan to you for care, to be raised in
accordance to the Lord’s Will and Purpose.
They are their own person, individual and special in
every way. When you force conformity to
you or society, you destroy the fabric of their uniqueness. You destroy the snowflake.
To take or destroy what belongs to the Lord is sacrilegious. To take or touch without consent is sacriledgious.
The children’s compass is the pattern created by the Lord
and their growth is designed to be with the Holy Spirit.
As parents, we set the tone for learning, and development, not possession.
And the tone should be that of excellence in character
and deed with love, respect and regard for the Lord and for all of God’s
children.
