Has it been over eight years since the ultimate disrespect?
Amazing how those that were tasked with upholding the Teachings of Christ totally disrespected every Teaching and what the Lord Created, including the most Lord's most precious Design.
The sins stemmed from disrespect and selfish desires grew into total disregard for the Lord's Blueprint;
Causing the change from blessings into curses and divergence towards hell for some of the unexpected, (from ministers that should know better to magis that should know the difference between holy and unholy), but selfish desires ruled back then seeped in disrespect for the Lord and the Lord's Design.
I am surprised that as bad as things are and have become, it is not worse.
Surprised, because I know how bad those sins were and are.
I am not sure you know how bad those sins were and are; and where you are in the Lord's Judgement.

How far away from redemption (or do you have salvation) are you?

Inappropriate behavior is inappropriate behavior.
Behaving in an inappropriate behavior shows disrespect for the victim and the Lord for the victim belongs to the Lord; and inappropriate behavior displays dishonor for the perpetrator(s).
Sexual assault is one of the most heinous crimes and sins against a person, humanity and Lord that can be committed and the Lord demonstrated how heinous rape is through the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
The inappropriate acts of dishonor and disgrace dirties up the mind and creates impure hearts which will never see the Lord and Heaven's Gate, thus prevent entry into heaven.
By opening up direct connections to the gutters of hell, the rapist sinner is condemning his or her sullied soul to Satan.
Such heinous crimes against the victim, humanity and the Lord, prevents the rapist sinner from ever receiving the Holy Spirit because of a mind dirtied, heart impure and soul corrupted.
And such heinous crimes of rape from the perpetrator sinner is forever damnable.
Kindred,
Jesus never abused his power;
Never took advantage;
Never sought to win selfish desires;
Nor disrespected or dishonored what belongs to the Lord.
He gave thanksgiving for the food and drink received.
Never asking thanks for Himself or for the miracles performed; however, it does not mean people should not be grateful for the miracles and His Teachings.
There is always, as the song states, a mountain to climb and it is in the climb where we are tested, where we show our true colors that determine the course of our destiny in character and deed.
Whether you climb the Lord's mountain with the Lord and match the Vision of your original design (by the Lord), depends on you and how closely you honor and respect the Lord, the Lord's Commandments and the Lord's Creations.
Where you end up, in heaven, in hell or purgatory, depends upon you and what you do in your climb.
