If you want salvation, you have to meet the requirements of salvation with concrete character attributes and good practices.
Talking the talk is nothing, you need to walk the walk.
At the end of the day, remember what you will be Judged upon; it will be based upon the Lord's Judgement, not yours.
What are the Lord's requirements for salvation?
Will it be let sin in and gain footholds in yourself?
Will it be let sinners do whatever is on their sicko minds?
What exactly will it be?

The Lord's Perspective
Kindred,
Are you a glass half full or half empty kind of person?
The problem with a view point is that even when two people are looking at the same thing, they see it differently.
Both perspectives are neither right or wrong.
The same goes if a person perceives the glass as neither full or empty.
However, if you are analyzing a person to find out what makes that person tick, you do not base your readings on your own perspective, but that person's.
Just as if you are trying to figure out the Teachings of Jesus Christ, you do not lend to your own understanding:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know." Proverbs 3:5
The problem: not everyone is attuned to the Holy Spirit or even remember the Lord when making decisions.
Some people have a tendency to read whatever into a situation and do whatever without regard to the truth, consequences or consideration for the Lord or for people.
Inaccurate readings or misinformation does nothing to help with understanding (of a person or subject matter).
Bad readings can lead to horrible assumptions and terrible consequences; like the misinformation that the Covid-19 coronavirus is like the common cold, no need to take it seriously.
The result of bad readings, bad assumptions and bad practices have terrible consequences in tragic outcomes and catastrophic fails.
This is similar to sinners assuming salvation in the Lord when never doing anything with the Lord (or have the Lord's blessing).
You know, if you want salvation, you have to understand salvation from the Lord's Perspective and follow the Lord's Directive, not your own.

The Process of Best Strategy in Difficult Times

In a process, think in terms how to best approach a problem or an idea, what concepts go in, what to leave out, and how it will work out, not in terms of right or wrong, but probabilities of positive or negative outcomes (and how extensive the positive and negatives will be).
In the process of developing a best strategy for dealing with the coronavirus, think in terms of adaptive response and proactive containment, not right or wrong, open or close.
It should be based upon how well each community is responding to preventing, identifying, and containing the Covid-19 cases.
Failures mean exponential increases the spread of Covid-19, in cost of human lives and economic decline.
There is no win in tragedy, just survival.
There is no way to convince some people, when the situation is already costly, that it would actually cost less to implement costly best strategy which will bear fruit in the longer run;
Rather than the short-term panic problems of incoherent strategies, which will result in longer and more costly problems than the "longer" best strategy, which will turn out to be shorter.
How do I know this without a crystal ball?
From the history of a person's track record, the trajectory of real accomplishments and experience that determine the person's ability and wisdom to handle the problem at hand.
In other words, Dumbledore will be more likely to have a best strategy than a Lockhart or Professor Trelawney.
Which ever your choice, this too shall pass.
But will it pass at the cost of our humanity and souls?
Or will we rise to the test and pass this test of character?
It remains to be seen.
Remember, your choices matter, not just to your well being, but also the well-being of your family, friends and neighbors.

Yourself and Judgement

Do you really think some people can get away with doing bad or sinful things?
Getting away from justice of Caesar and justice of the Lord are two different things.
Do not think the Lord's justice involves forgiveness when it comes to aggravated crimes against humanity and sins, because it does not.
The Lord sent angels to destroy the people of Sodom and Gomorrah, because of their unholy practices in sins.
Many are groomed into believing that the Lord is all forgiving, but the Lord's capacity for forgiveness has nothing to do with the Unholies capacity for sins and crimes against humanity.
If you turn yourself into a cockroach, filled with sins of the flesh and crimes against humanity, then get away with sexual abuse crimes, you still are what you have become, an unholy cockroach; totally incompatible with Heaven (with unpure heart) and when you die the expectation of forgiveness will do nothing to change who you've become, your unholy character or your real Judgement.
Getting away with bad behaviors, becoming unholy in character, means on Judgement Day the sentencing to Hell will be that much greater and into deeper parts of Hell.
Therefore, it is best (if you are sinful) to get caught, confess, repent and atone for sins and crimes against humanity before Judgement Day.
This imagined salvation by sinful Unholies is wishful thinking, because of the real incompatibility of their unholy character and sins with that of Heaven.
You cannot get get away from yourself and whoever you've become.
And you cannot escape or get away from the Lord's Judgement.
If you want a heaven on earth, you have to bring the Lord's justice* to earth.
If you want true salvation, you have to have a purity of heart, free from sin and sinful practices.
And if you have sinned, confess, repent and atone.
*Defend against sin and harm; protect humanity from harm (sins and crimes against humanity).

A Journey of Process

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" - Laozi
Before you hyperventilate at the magnitude of any task, remember big or small, long or short journey, it begins with a single step.
You just have to make sure it is a step in the correct direction and not off a cliff.
In any process, there is proper order and sequence of doing things.
First is the understanding that it is a process, not an end, and it involves order of steps.
In other words, you do not start building a house without foundation or a blueprint.
And if you do not know how to accomplish the task, consult a wise and competent person with a proven track record of good work (not the quacks or unholies which knows only destruction and grandiose delusions).
