Kindred,
Do you sometimes feel as if you are stuck in an escape room (a room where you are locked in with a team and in the time alloted, you need to find clues to puzzles in order to escape), with some other team that has questionable escape abilities?
Well, I do.
But regardless of the team and ability, now is the time to work together to find clues to escaping our predicament in time.
By working together, I mean listening to the wisest person in the room.
I know you have some grandiose people thinking that super power means omnipotence, but against mother nature and pandemic problems, those super ignorant unholies are but tiny grains of sand.
Besides, grandoise beliefs in omnipotence is not the same as having omniscience.
But, I digress.
We all know by now someone's track record or will know, as time will out the truth, of a person's work, ethics, character, ability and competence.
If we are honest, we can tell the real heroes from the pretend ones and the hypocrites.
And we should know what to do when stuck in a escape room type scenario with our real world problems; work our way through the problems and with the person capable of solving the puzzles or problems.
We should be methodical in our approach and remain calm.
Together with the wisest person, we can escape this predicament, but it will take a lot of problem solving and cooperation from every team is needed.

Before
Kindred,
Before you try to be anything, please consider everything; every aspect of what is, what may be and what will be.
Think before you leap.
Before you think about the future, learn from your past mistakes; do not repeat history for the worst.
Reflect before you think.
You are who you are; and if you hope to be anything other than who you are now, you have to recognize your true colors.
Know in order to be the change.

Thank you Mom and Mothers for everything;
From the beginning,
the weight gain, the labor pains,
the hours and years of care, you gave it all.
From the work at home, cooking, cleaning, shopping, teachings to work at office, the many jobs you have, working your fingers to the bone, you gave it all.
From chauffeur (to football, basketball, soccer games, birthday parties, bible studies and so much more), volunteer and coach, what job didn't you do?
Last to eat, first to care and sacrifice to make our lives better; thank you for all you do.

Mental Health Day
Kindred,
It's kinda difficult to say that one has to have a mental health day from home, but I have to say it.
Sometimes, we need to take mental health day, even from home.
But then how to do so when stuck at home?
The answer is not in going out or in a return to normal yet.
Why?
COVID-19 or the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the CDC, mild cases require 2 weeks, severe cases 3-6 weeks for recovery.
If you get sick, you will use up all your sick time; that's if you survive.
The mortality rate for people in really good healthcare systems range from 3 to 6 percent; for bad healthcare systems the range is 10 to 13 percent and higher.
Currently, in U.S., at over 1.32 million inflected and over 78,500 deaths, the human toll and economic toll will cause any rational person great concern.
The news and numbers is not good and will not be good for awhile, but now is not the time to panic or throw in the towel or turn to psychotic and suicidal practices such as herd immunity.
People are not livestock and should never be considered in such a manner.
This human "herd" in the U.S. is over 325 million strong. If you calculate even at the most conservative morality rate of 3 percent, it's the death of over 9 million people.
And if you, at the most conservative say, that of the total herd inflected, that 10 percent (and you know from data that this number is higher) will suffer serious complications and require hospitalization that is over 32.5 million people.
If hospitals are at nearing capacity at over 1 million inflected, what are they going to be at 300 times that amount?
In addition, the coronavirus is a virus that mutates and over time immunity over one strain will not cover the immunity from a different strain (like the flu, which is why you need to update seasonal flu shots for the vaccines to be effective); meaning you will likely have to get sick over and over again and survive in order to have immunity.
Please do not lose your heads over this pandemic.
If you need to take a mental health day, do so, but not at the expense of your life or your love ones lives.
Remember this virus is highly contagious at least through person to person contact.
Follow CDC guidelines:
Wear a mask*
practice social distancing
Wash hands
Do not touch face
Clean and Disinfect
Practice safety and well-being first and do what the Lord would have you do.
Be well.
*Some masks are more effective with air filter and make sure it covers nose and mouth.

WWJD?
Kindred,
In a crisis, many face great tragedies and tough decisions.
It can get overwhelming.
When uncertain or paralyze with fear,
ask yourself what the Lord would have you do.
What would Jesus do (WWJD)?
Even Jesus experience great fear and expressed it in the Garden of Gethsemane.
Therefore, do not be afraid to ask the tough questions.
But what if you need concete guidance?
Choose a person with good character that is not afraid to speak truth to power (with integrity) and have a track record of competency and wisdom.
Even if a situation is impossible, you will have a much better chance of good outcomes if that person is actually good in any given situation and wise; have intelligence and come up with positive solutions and practical measures.
Repeat, keep in mind what the Lord would have you do.
