In this midterm election, I hope “sports” bettors did not bet against the ‘blue wave.’ The blue wave that has landed has turned into an earthquake, a tornado, and a hurricane.

Most likely, they did not, because you did not have to be psychic to predict a blue wave given the economic conditions. But you would need to be a true psychic to predict a tidal wave of this magnitude.

And a true gambler would have bet the odds, so any losses would have been minor.

Theoretically, you do not have to be psychic to know what will happen; you just have to know how things work in economics, physics, metaphysics, etcetera.

Power and control in the minutiae, when stuck in grandiose delusions, do not count in reality. And if you try to bet based on baseless fantasies, the end results would be disastrous.

Good luck in future endeavors. Try not to wager too much on certain outcomes.
