What's really happening when someone is ruthless?

For someone to be ruthless, to act without mercy, pity, or compassion and pursue goals regardless of the pain, suffering, and harm caused to others, that person must first destroy the fruit of the Spirit within themselves.

What's happening when the fruit of the Spirit is destroyed?

This person becomes devoid of love, joy, peace, forbearance (patience), kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Any grand plan to ruthlessly destroy another without love, regard, or consideration cannot succeed without first destroying the heart and soul of the ruthless.

What is really happening when the heart and soul are destroyed?

The death of humanity and the loss of salvation within the ruthless.

Wisdom?

Whatever accomplishments are gained through ruthlessness will never surpass the initial achievement—the self-destruction and annihilation of the ruthless soul.
