What is the Lord?

The Lord is love. And what is love?  

If you do not know love, have patience and kindness, then you do not know the Lord.

"Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love".  

                                                                                      - 1 John 4:8

Can you connect to the Holy Spirit or know God without love?

How deep is your love?

Do you envy? Are you boastful? Do you dishonor others? Are you self-seeking, easily angered, delighting in evil and rejoicing with lies and hate?  

If you have too much baggage, too many sins, too much envy and hate, then do you know the Lord at all?
