Shepherds must remind their flock of the importance of having a pure heart (Matthew 5:8), which is a necessary condition for salvation.

"Whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin.  This was because they were saying, 'He has an unclean spirit.'"
