What is the difference between knowledge and intelligence?

Knowledge is the information and skills a person acquires, while intelligence is the ability to use that knowledge to solve problems, reason, and adapt.*

Knowledge is the "what"—the facts and data you have—and intelligence is the "how"—the capacity to apply that data effectively in new situations.*

For example, a person may have extensive knowledge of history but may lack the intelligence to apply that knowledge in making wise decisions in unexpected situations or unforeseen circumstances.*

If knowledge is power, then intelligence is the ability to use that power wisely.

Without intelligence, one may struggle with adaptability, find it difficult to differentiate meaningful information from irrelevant noise, and face challenges in identifying and understanding problems.

Ignorance also hampers the capacity to find effective solutions and to recognize that misguided solutions can be problems in themselves, rather than actual solutions.

Therefore, we need to base our actions on intelligence, rather than wishful thinking, deceptive propaganda, or self-deception.

It is essential to rely on real, quantifiable intelligence backed by experts with a proven track record, rather than fraud and grandiose illusions.

An abuse of power rooted in ignorance is ultimately destructive and unsustainable over time.

This situation can be likened to Bernie Madoff's Ponzi scheme, which may deceive people for years but will ultimately collapse under its own costs, fraud, and lies. Stealing, fraud, shuffles wealth around, but does not create or generate new wealth. And will eventually become unsustainable and bleed dry from the extravagance and costs.

When this happens, the inverse of prosperity and peace prevails, leading to the loss of trust, credibility, status, and wealth, all crushed by the unsustainability of falsehoods and Ponzi-like schemes.

Therefore, if we are to survive and practice survival of the fittest in adaptability, prosper, and have peace, we must practice and operate everything based on intelligence.

And wisely follow the teachings of Christ, where the “meek shall inherit the earth” (Matthew 5:5), for without the gentle ability to connect and receive the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, we cannot truly seek, learn, adapt, and grow in love, peace, and wisdom with the Lord.
