Do You Care?

Why is it crucial to care for your neighbor and foster love within your community, just as you would for yourself?

Caring for others is not only important; it is a fundamental expression of love, as emphasized in Jesus Christ's commandment to love your neighbor as yourself.

By caring for our neighbors and nurturing love in our communities, we strengthen our bonds and reflect the compassion we owe ourselves.

When we treat others with kindness and support, we create a vibrant, positive environment that benefits everyone.

Ignoring this essential commandment is a serious violation that can lead to separation from the Lord, disconnection from the Holy Spirit, spiritual death, and ultimately, damnation.

We are unequivocally commanded to care for one another and to act as stewards of the earth; therefore, we have a clear duty to fulfill this responsibility.

The concept of a "duty of care" encompasses both a spiritual imperative and a legal obligation to act reasonably and avoid causing harm to others.

While we all have individual responsibilities to care for one another, those in public service have an even greater obligation to prioritize the public interest and the well-being of their employees and contractors.

When we grant our leaders excessive power, it often results in a diminished commitment to the people and employees due to reduced accountability and a misguided sense of immunity.

Some public servants may even overlook the "Public Trust Doctrine," malfeasance laws, and conflict of interest regulations.

Despite the legal obligations public servants have to their constituents, they must prioritize people first and safeguard jobs.

This commitment reflects a fundamental level of care and decency essential to a thriving and prosperous society for everyone.

So ask yourself: “Do you care? About the Lord's commandments? About the people around you? About fulfilling your duty as stewards of the earth?”

If not, why do you not care?
