**Who Are We?**
Are we not the country that leaves no one behind?
Do we abandon every man for himself?
Are we not the nation where the law states there is a duty to care?
Regardless of our religious or spiritual beliefs, we hold a profound responsibility to care for the poor, uplift those in need, and ensure the welfare of every member of our society.
No matter our political or social beliefs, those in government have a duty and an oath to defend the Constitution and protect people from harm.
We do not need those in power inciting violence or divisions that lead to more harm and a lack of care.
We do not need those in power taking away our rights, including our First Amendment rights, through government overreach.
Despite our differences, government and society should reflect our Christian and spiritual values, untainted by selfish political gains and abuses of power.
Who we are and who we become matters to our democratic society, to the world, and to humanity.
If we disregard our spiritual responsibility to care, ignore the teachings of scripture, and stray from our national identity, then we jeopardize not only democracy and the American brand, but also our faith, spirituality, and salvation.
So, who are we?
