In times of tragedy resulting from violence, we must resist the urge to assign blame and instead focus on solutions. 

We need to take a hard look at our actions and recognize why some individuals believe that turning to violence is an acceptable response to societal issues. 

Violent rhetoric only permeates our society, leading to more school shootings, the tragic loss of school-aged children, increased domestic violence, and widespread political unrest. 

Clearly, we must do more to prevent this cycle of violence. 

We honor the memory of those we have lost by actively working to ensure these tragedies do not recur. 

It’s time for us to stand together and create real change.
