Has it really been so long since the experiences of enduring aggression and imperial rule faded from our collective memory? 


These experiences have led to profound losses of freedom, widespread injustices (such as the Intolerable Acts), and devastating losses of life (evident in events like the Boston Massacre, and the Nanjing Massacre).


Do you genuinely want to become the aggressor—an imperialist who subjugates people and inflicts further losses of freedom, injustices, and human suffering?


When will enough be enough?


Is the pursuit, or rather the abuse, of power so important, especially when it contradicts the possibility of receiving salvation?


What is the point in the end, when you can’t take anything with you when you die?

What is the value of a world order built upon atrocities and harm to our shared humanity, one devoid of honor, decency, compassion, or empathy?


Can you remember or conceive of what it was like during those oppressive times?
