It is astounding that abusers believe that the victim is ever at fault. 


It is equally astonishing that people in denial think the abuser-sinners have no sins within themselves. 


Why? 


Because the fault and guilt lie with the abuser and the true sinner, not with the victim.


Even when you believe you are justified, this does not excuse harming, abusing, or coercing the victim to adopt your point of view. 


Therefore, take time to reflect and discern what those sins may be, especially the cardinal sins of lust and impurity. 


Ultimately, any unrepentant sins will be the responsibility of the sinner, not the victim.


How serious are your sins?


Imagine if the same abuses were inflicted upon you; would you still think that you were the one at fault? 


A good way to assess the sins within you is to see if you can connect directly with the Holy Spirit. 


If you struggle to connect to anything holy without experiencing agony or anguish, then there is a significant likelihood that there are sins—both cardinal and deadly—within you.
