The Body Is A Temple Of The Holy Spirit

 


Rape is considered an abomination because "the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit."


"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? 


You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body."

When a rapist sexually assaults a victim, he commits sacrilege upon the temple of the Holy Spirit because "the body is not just a physical vessel, but also a sacred dwelling place for the Holy Spirit."


Our bodies do not belong to us; they belong to the Lord. Rape causes serious violations against the Holy Spirit.


Rape crimes are considered to be among the most grave and egregious sins against the Holy Spirit and will bring about dire consequences.


The shame lies with the rapist, not with the victim. Committing such heinous acts dirties up the body of the rapists, and the temple once housing the Holy Spirit can no longer do so.


Moreover, the unclean, unholy acts of rape will cause the heart to become impure, blocking a connection with the Lord.


When the Lord can no longer be seen, salvation cannot be received and heaven will be obscured.


In order to see the Lord, receive the Holy Spirit, and attain salvation, never perpetrate acts of sexual abuse and sin against the temple of the Holy Spirit.
