The heart is what connects you to the Lord, to yourself, and to the people around you.

If your heart is corrupt, filled with hate, fear, or cardinal sins of lust and greed, then it no longer has positive connections.

And following those without a heart for anyone or anything but themselves will only lead to careless disasters 


Because when push comes to shove, you would be the ones thrown out and under the bus, because not the kind of captain that would go down with the ship.

And following those with the power to abuse and sexually abuse into bankruptcy and cardinal sins, does not mean having more standing or legitimate power, especially when conducting illegitimate acts.  

Following bad business practices, and bad and dishonorable conduct again does not mean having more power or standing; 

What it does mean is more abusive power in power trips that are criminal liabilities and crimes against humanity.


What this translates to are simple more negative connections and sins without the ability to see the Lord and feel the Holy Spirit.  

Negative connections usually translate into negative acts and thus negative consequences.  

Therefore having a purity of heart* is a must for positive connections, good standing, and loving and seeing the Lord and loving and seeing someone other than self.
