Duty to Act in Good Faith

Good faith is making good on your word of honor.

“The duty to act in good faith is a broad legal term that can have different meanings depending on the context.

It can include:

Honesty: Acting in a sincere or honest way

Fair dealing: Following fair dealing standards

Purpose: Acting for a proper purpose or with an honest belief or purpose

Diligence: Not slacking off or being neglectful

Cooperation: Interacting with others in a way that promotes collaboration”*

When you enter into a contract or an agreement you faithly and honestly fulfill the terms of service.

When you are an officer on record you must act with conscious fiduciary responsibility of those duties.

What are some of the consequences when you fail to act in good faith?

Why have standards fallen so low? Where is the sense of honor and duty? There is no win or salvation in the shame of dishonor and indecency....
