Duty to Act in Good Faith



Good faith is making good on your word of honor.  


“The duty to act in good faith is a broad legal term that can have different meanings depending on the context. 


It can include:


Honesty: Acting in a sincere or honest way


Fair dealing: Following fair dealing standards


Purpose: Acting for a proper purpose or with an honest belief or purpose


Diligence: Not slacking off or being neglectful


Cooperation: Interacting with others in a way that promotes collaboration”*


When you enter into a contract or an agreement you faithly and honestly fulfill the terms of service.  


When you are an officer on record you must act with conscious fiduciary responsibility of those duties.
