Can fear even be a sin?
"Fear not" is in the bible 365 times, the same number of days in a year.
The Lord is saying to us, each day, to not fear.
"When I am afraid, I put my trust in you."
- Psalm 56:3
"There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear.
For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love."
- 1 John 4:18
Everyone at some point fears.
However, when we let fear take hold, give footholds to fear and rule, then fear can overwhelm love and give rise to hate.
"What is an even greater threat than nuclear weapons?
That which makes the use of them possible: hate."

Fear makes the use of hate possible.
Fear makes the excuse of hate possible.
Therefore, do not fear, but put your faith in the Lord and grow in the love of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
For it is the love of the Lord which makes all things possible, including love and peace in salvation.
