Beware of Wolves in Sheep's Clothing

Did you know the expression "beware of wolves in sheep's clothing" originated from Jesus Christ's Sermon on the Mount?

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves."

                       - Matthew 7:15

How do we watch out for someone false, when we cannot even recognize them underneath sheep's clothing?

Unfortunately, most of us do not recognize or are even aware of the wolves in sheep's clothing until it is too late.

Because the false prophets, false ministers, false idols, false powers, will appear to us in a trusting and innocent form, much like that of a sheep.

How many of us question our ministers, priests before the news (in recent years) alerting us to the possibility of unholy predatory pedophilic and sexual abusive behaviors in them and the cover ups by some churches?

How many of us were even aware of this most unholy sin and crimes against humanity?

How many were surprised to find out the extent and how long in duration these crimes against humanity persisted unchecked, corrupted and festered undaunted?

Who gave us the sermons, the homilies and the speeches of the truth unmolested and undistorted?

If we were to cast our minds back, will we be able to discover and untangle the level of grooming, the lack of truth and purity of heart?

How do we know who to watch out for, who to beware of, in predatory behaviors if it is covered up, never reported or weeded out?

How would our children know?

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see the Lord."                                - Matthew 5:8  Without a pure heart...
