Kindred,

Do you know who else in history was considered meek?

Many of the world's religions formed by prophets and teachers were meek.

Budda in Buddhism: “He who utters only gentle, instructive and truthful speech, criticizing no-one that is what I call a brahmin.” Gentle and full of meekness.

Buddhist, Dhammapada – Sayings of the Buddha 1 (tr. J. Richards)

In Islam: “The Prophet said, “Be gentle and calm, O ‘Aisha, as Allah likes gentleness (meekness) in all affairs.”

Islam, Hadith, Bukhari Vol 8, Book 75, # 404

Judaism:

“Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.”.

                                   Numbers 12:3

Hinduism: “For him also (are prescribed) truthfulness, meekness, and purity.” 51.

Hindu, The Dharma Sutras, Gutama 10

And many more religions of the world instruct believers to be meek; where meekness is an attribute of true believers.

In Christianity:

“In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;"

                                  2 Timothy 2:25

Therefore, if believers of many faiths are true, practice their faiths as instructed and make real their true beliefs, then

"the meek will inherit the earth".

                                   Matthew 5:5
