Kindred,

The following scripture passage does mean that the author of this blog thinks money is not necessary or that you should not advocate for fair trade, fair exchange or fair treatment, or get money for damages owed or money for intellectual property due.

It means there must not be greed.

"If you love money, you will never be satisfied; if you long to be rich, you will never get all that you want.  It is useless."

                              - Ecclesiastes 5.10

The same could be said of any materialistic wants, selfish desires or of Caesar power trips.

If you love power, you will never be satisfied; if you long to be powerful, you will never get all that you want, especially with power, because it is not humanly possible to have total control over everything or everyone, and absolute power corrupts.

Then when corrupted by power, the control of self becomes smaller and smaller in the strangulation of self and humanity and the rage of not being in total control manifests itself in out of control violence, behaviors and criminal acts against humanity.

It is useless, because it causes harm in the soul from greed (sins) and injuries from abuses of power.

It is useless because materialism can never create inspiration in the ideas that can generate intellectual property that garner the money or the power.

It is useless, because it does not address the systemic problems; the lack of industry, lack of opportunity, and the racism, misogyny sabotages that caused the money problems in the first place.

It is a myth, a fallacy, and a grandiose delusion to think that by destroying the economy of the West, it will make oil-dependent countrie...
