Once, long ago, my Biology 101 professor (at Washington University in St. Louis) gave a lecture on the dangers of smoking.
He liken it to playing Russian roulette, because you never know when your body will develop a negative cancerous response (It could be at the first puff).
It feels the same with COVID-19 exposure, except with greater chances it will kill you faster the older you are.
The difference is that if you allow yourself to become infected and host, you can infest others in your family and cost them their lives.
Why not limit the possibility of sickness and death by taking and enforcing proper precautions?
