What the Heart Is Full Of

Kindred,

"A healthy tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a poor tree bear good fruit.

Every tree is known by the fruit it bears; you do not pick figs from thorn bushes or gather grapes from bramble bushes.

A good person brings out of the treasure good things in his heart; a bad person brings bad out of his treasure of bad things.  For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of."

                             - Luke 7:43-45

Today, we speak what our hearts are full of.

The hurt at being hurt by people sworn to protect from harm.

The constant injustice of a system that allows for abuse of power and crimes against humanity; that lets bad apples stay to perpetuate more harm and bad practices.

Respect of the people should be the norm.

We have a right to expect our public servants to actually serve the people with respect, regard and dignity, without fear of excessive force, torture, retaliation or death.

In order to have a justice system, we actually have to have a system of justice; whereby fair, respectful and equitable treatment of people the norm.

Every and all lives matter.
