The events that lead to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ is well known.
The so-called trial where Pontius Pilate gave the crowd a choice to free Barabbas, a notorious prisoner who has committed murder or Jesus; and the crowd chose to free Barabbas and crucify Jesus, adding "Let the responsibility for his death fall on us and on our children."
What crime did Jesus commit?
What kind of hate or fear goes on inside those people to cause them to choose crucifixion of an innocent?
What kind of ignorance goes on inside for them to seek to destroy enlightenment? Why?
The crowd did get one thing correct in that the responsibility for their choices did fall upon them and their children; just like the choices you make in good or bad practices will fall upon you and your children.
What happens to you when you practice hate? Or when you practice sins?
What happens when your children learn to practice hate? Or when your children practice sins?
The Lord's Commandments are clear.
You are commanded to obey, "Love the Lord with all your heart, will all your soul, and all your mind. And love your neighbor as you love yourself."
What happens when you disobey the Lord in the practice of hate or sins?
The events that lead to your Judgement Day is known to you; it unfolds every day and at each step, the condition of your soul, mind and heart is known to you.
