Nothing to Fear

Kindred,

You are not alone;

Every person fears.

"Nothing is so much feared as fear."                             -Henry David Thoreau

The key is to not let fear control or have power over you.

How then to cope or deal with fear?

Covering-up fear with drugs or alcohol is not the answer.   It does not cope or rootout of fear; it gives additional problems in drugs or alcohol.

Cope and deal with fear by admitting you are human and have fears.

Only by facing and confronting your fears can you breakdown root causes of your fears and root them out.

When we do not face our fears,  we have a tendency,  according to Freud, to project our fears,  insecurities and dislike of ourselves onto others.

What happens then is that we act out in series of dysfunctions and aggressions that hurt our character and hurt others in bad behaviors and misconduct.

Deal with what you do not like about yourself by giving yourself a break, be kind to yourself, allow yourself to fear,  and face fear.

Face it through respect and self-respect.  Respect the Lord and the  purpose instilled in you; and
respect yourself with compassion and respect your original purpose.

Knowing and realizing how far away you are from the person you need to be, allows you to work toward the person the Lord intended you to be.

The Lord intented that you should to be good, the better person and be part of the good stewards of humanity and all (of and on) the earth.
