Dear Kindred,
It is OK to be angry, to have moral outrage.
When Jesus Christ confronted the money changers in temple, Jesus was not meek. His countenance was not gentle, sweet or kind. The upturned tables and scattering of monies were the evidence of this fact. He was clearly upset that the money changers were desecrating sacred space with sins of greed.
How do you think Jesus would respond today to sexual abuse in temple? To sexual abuse of children?
It is the belief of this author that there are different pathways to enlightenment and spiritual understanding. The hope is to develop positive connections and relationships.
