When one walks in the wrong direction, away from wisdom and the Lord, the further down the road, the farther away from salvation and greater the harm.
If one imagines themselves playing the long game, but playing it wrong and in the wrong direction, the longer the time, the greater the wrong.
Long term investments in ponzi schemes, fraud and lies, will only garner more nothings, but liabilities eventually becoming unsustainable and overriding all assets.
Therefore, walk with the wise and holy and garner prosperity, peace and salvation; one will last the rest of your days and the next generation and the latter will last for all eternity.
