Kindred,

Have you ever been fooled?

How badly?

We have all experienced it, the practical jokes, a good laugh, a good play.

However, it is one thing to be good-naturedly tricked in jest; it's another to be humiliated, abused or compromised in bullying, abusive or corrupt behaviors.

Have you ever heard of one of Aesop's Fables, The Boy Who Cried Wolf?

What was the moral of that fable?

If you do not think fables or parables apply to real life think again.

Let say someone lied about the dangers of COVID-19, pretended that this contagion did not exist, was not lethal to some and was not contagious to others, what do you think the consequences are about this lie?

Failures to tell the truth and face the truth have serious consequences, not only in life, but also in the Lord's Judgement.

How do you think the Lord will judge those lies?

What happens to your heart, mind and soul, your character, when you tell lies, live in lies and become your lies?

What is the definition of a joke?

How do you live with the Lord, in the light, if you do not live in truth?

Spirituality requires purity of heart.   Impurities block your spirit from connecting to the holy, to love and peace, to positive emotions...
